Make no mistake these are not audiophile high end headphones but for good sound at a good price with good NC you can't go wrong with these headphones. The construction on the headphones is great. I wouldn't say they're great because I have not used any other NC headphones. I purchased these headphones for use on the plane and in the office and they work well. I've handled the Bose and Sony units in the store and these headphones rank right along beside them with regard to how well they're made. For the price they're fantastic.I'm not an audiophile but I know quality sound when I hear it and these headphones deliver. There a little heavy on the low end and when the NC is not on the sound is quite muffled. The case is great and all the adapters are wonderful. My only complaint is the cord it's a bit small and seems that it would be the weak link. I haven't had any problems as of yet, but I would suspect that if I did it would be at the cord.
Just a short Pro/Con review after 3.5 hours of use.Pros:Good constructionGreat, crisp sound from your musicWorks as regular headphones without batteriesNice travel storage caseCons:Creates ear discomfort almost from the get-go. Ears don't quite fit in the foaming and get crammed or pinched.Very week noise canceling technology used.Decent NC heaphones. I got these when my Logitech NC headphones right mounting broke - a construction design flaw which Logitech ended up with a whole bunch of returned units and discontinued making NC headphones. That was unfortunate because they were the most comfortable headphones I've ever worn.
A small green LED lets you know you're draining the battery. The noise reduction works very well all by itself. It fits over the ear which I thought was of prime importance. The battery last a long time. It is not large and heavy on the head. It folds conventiently. The noise reduction makes the music a lot better.I would give it five stars if it had 'charged' back up versus tossing batteries. ( more earth friendly )
